1. I couldn’t get the deadbolts turned at the house so I called Hollie’s dad and he was really cool. He let me know I could call him if anything came up that I needed help with. (The deadbolt issue sort of resolved itself.)

2. The dogs bolted away from me and ran straight into another dog and owner. The owner was upset but I handled the situation pretty well and kept pretty calm. After restraining the dogs I let the owner of the other dog know she could get a hold of me if she felt her dog had been hurt.

3. I met Nick at his friend’s house and felt really comfortable around his friends. I love that he wants me to meet them. Also since it was a warm evening we played in their pool in the dark.

1. I felt really comfortable at my new job. I know there’s a lot I don’t know but I haven’t been feeling overwhelmed.

2. One of the girls I work with seems really sweet.

3. Nick and I were marveling about how good it feels to be around each other.

1. I met a boy that I really like. =)

2. He likes me. =)

3. We spent yesterday evening hanging out with a couple of his buddies first at First Fridays and then at his house. =)

1. I was inspired to call up the woman I took a stained glass class from a while back and she remembered me and offered me a job working at her store =)

2. I got to talk to Kristen on the phone about it and I got all sorts of supportive texts from friends and family =)

3.I was really excited to post those first two things and even though I bet I could think of a third thing not related to those it feels so good to be excited about something =)

1. It was a really pretty day outside –not too hot.

2.I enjoyed most of the day in the company of a friend.

3.While I was there I enjoyed how sweet her home was.

1. I felt a little sense of satisfaction about having cleaned when I opened my bedroom door to reveal a partially clean room.

2. Mom made homemade ice cream.

3. I told a joke to a friend and they laughed.

1. I Had fresh strawberries from Mom’s garden which were delicious.

2. I went for an evening walk with Mom and Dad and it was really comfortable outside.

3. A friend said it was easy for them to be open with me.

1. Mom invited me to go with her to pick out some flowers to plant and she went with me to get some blank cards to decorate…it wasn’t so much actually doing those things that made me feel good it was that she cares enough about me to try think of things I might enjoy doing to keep from being depressed.

2. There were a couple of times today when I felt appreciative of Mom. I like that she enjoys things like planting flowers and baking. It’s nice to be around her when we do some of the things she likes.

3. I enjoyed some more coffee ice cream…it was cool and creamy and not too sweet.

1. I fixed some Crystal Light and felt good that I was able to satisfy my craving for something lemonade-like.

2. I really felt like some coffee ice cream and then I ate some.

1. I had leftover ribs that were smoky and tasty.

2. One of the teenagers in group brought his girlfriend to family night and they seemed like a cute couple.

3. One of the guys in group brought peanut M&Ms to share.
